Updated: Mar 27, 2020

In light of the evolving outbreak, we are closely monitoring the situation and are committed to keeping you updated on the precautionary measures we are taking as a church.

Last updated on March 25, 2020

1. Worship Experience Online

In keeping in close adherence to MOH's advisory, ILC first decentralized its Worship Experience on March 7, and has continued to implement social distancing measures in quick progression till today. Currently, all members are participating in Worship Experiences via livestream from homes either remotely or in small groups of no more than 10 people. Besides social distancing measures, appropriate health precautionary measures are also in place and will continue to evolve closely with MOH's advisories. This arrangement will continue until further notice.

2. Enhanced Precautionary Measures for Life Groups

a) Network of Health ICs

Every Life Group has nominated their very own Health IC to ensure that the implementation of church-wide precautionary measures are taken care of, down to the life group and small group levels. Responsibilities of Health ICs include the active monitoring of their members' health and well-being, as well as the facilitation of the two way communication with the ILC Medical Advisory Team., and the adherence to the necessary precautionary measures.

b) Members' Protocol at Life Group or Small Group Sessions

  • It is compulsory for all members to monitor their own temperature before coming for Life Group.

  • Should a member display any respiratory symptoms or fever, he/she will be advised to see a doctor, monitor their own health condition and keep their Health IC informed on their progress of recovery.

  • All members are required to wash their hands upon entering the Life Group Venue.

  • All members are to ensure the proper cleaning and sanitisation of premises after every session.

3. Compulsory Health & Travel Declarations

Travel Advisory

  • As per MOH's guidelines, please refrain from all international travel. We understand that there might be a very small number of exceptions - if you are required to travel for specific reasons, kindly inform us immediately through our ILC Health & Declaration Form.

  • Returning members should already be on Stay Home Notice (SHN) for 14 days and should continue to adhere to MOH's guidelines for staying at home.

Health Advisory

  • If you develop any respiratory symptoms (such as cough, fever, sore throat or shortness of breath), please inform us immediately through our ILC Health & Declaration form, and refrain from participating in any church activities. Do see a doctor and stay at home until you are fully recovered.

Close Contact

Please inform us immediately if you have had close contact with individuals who fall under the following categories.

  • Suspected or confirmed cases of the COVID-19 infection.

  • A family member who is serving a Stay Home Notice (SHN), Leave of Absence (LOA) or Quarantine

  • Existing or new local infection clusters in Singapore

Upon receiving your online submission, our ILC Medical Advisory Team will conduct a risk assessment on a case by case basis, and reach out to your Health IC within 24 hours with a suitable recommendation.

4. Suspension of Activities

In line with the Ministry of Health’s advisory, we are taking additional measures to reduce large group and communal activities to safeguard our members' health and well-being.

For example, we will not be going ahead with Men Up, RVVL night and the Cambodia Mission Trip previously scheduled to take place in the months of February and March. Our Baptism service, The Dip, will also be postponed till further notice.

Additionally, we have moved our 8 weeks DNA and BMT curriculum online. For the first time, registered members are embarking on a comprehensive e-learning journey to discover the very essence of serving at ILC.

We will continue to watch the situation closely and where necessary, implement additional social distancing measures to continue to safeguard the health of our people.

5. Personal Hygiene

In the meantime, we highly encourage all members to:

  • Practice good personal hygiene (wash hands frequently, refrain from touching your face)

  • Monitor their own health and be socially responsible

  • Stay vigilant and up to date through the Ministry of Health advisories

  • Look out for one another and stay connected

Your safety means a lot to us. Do stay safe and connected at all times!

If you have any questions, please email us at covid19@impactlife.sg

Let’s continue to pray for our community, loved ones and friends, especially those who are working tirelessly on the frontlines to treat the infected and keep our nation safe.
