![#MINDRENOVATION is about renewing our minds, and it has everything to do with actively applying God’s Word.
James 1:22 (AMP)
𝘉𝘶𝘵 𝘱𝘳𝘰𝘷𝘦 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳𝘴𝘦𝘭𝘷𝘦𝘴 𝙙𝙤𝙚𝙧𝙨 𝙤𝙛 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙬𝙤𝙧𝙙 [𝘢𝘤𝘵𝘪𝘷𝘦𝘭𝘺 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘤𝘰𝘯𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘶𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘺 𝘰𝘣𝘦𝘺𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘎𝘰𝘥’𝘴 𝘱𝘳𝘦𝘤𝘦𝘱𝘵𝘴], 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘯𝘰𝘵 𝙢𝙚𝙧𝙚𝙡𝙮 𝙡𝙞𝙨𝙩𝙚𝙣𝙚𝙧𝙨 [𝘸𝘩𝘰 𝘩𝘦𝘢𝘳 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘸𝘰𝘳𝘥 𝘣𝘶𝘵 𝘧𝘢𝘪𝘭 𝘵𝘰 𝘪𝘯𝘵𝘦𝘳𝘯𝘢𝘭𝘪𝘻𝘦 𝘪𝘵𝘴 𝘮𝘦𝘢𝘯𝘪𝘯𝘨], 𝘥𝘦𝘭𝘶𝘥𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳𝘴𝘦𝘭𝘷𝘦𝘴 [𝘣𝘺 𝘶𝘯𝘴𝘰𝘶𝘯𝘥 𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘴𝘰𝘯𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘤𝘰𝘯𝘵𝘳𝘢𝘳𝘺 𝘵𝘰 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘵𝘳𝘶𝘵𝘩].
It’s not enough to have knowledge about the Word, have good intentions, or feel guilty about our state. 𝗞𝗻𝗼𝘄𝗹𝗲𝗱𝗴𝗲 𝗺𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗹𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗶𝗻 𝗼𝗿𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗼 𝗯𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻.
James 1:23-24 (AMP)
𝘍𝘰𝘳 𝘪𝘧 𝘢𝘯𝘺𝘰𝘯𝘦 𝘰𝘯𝘭𝘺 𝘭𝘪𝘴𝘵𝘦𝘯𝘴 𝘵𝘰 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘸𝘰𝘳𝘥 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩𝘰𝘶𝘵 𝘰𝘣𝘦𝘺𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘪𝘵, 𝘩𝘦 𝘪𝘴 𝘭𝘪𝘬𝘦 𝘢 𝘮𝘢𝘯 𝘸𝘩𝘰 𝘭𝘰𝘰𝘬𝘴 𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘺 𝘤𝘢𝘳𝘦𝘧𝘶𝘭𝘭𝘺 𝘢𝘵 𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘯𝘢𝘵𝘶𝘳𝘢𝘭 𝘧𝘢𝘤𝘦 𝘪𝘯 𝘢 𝘮𝘪𝘳𝘳𝘰𝘳; 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘰𝘯𝘤𝘦 𝘩𝘦 𝘩𝘢𝘴 𝘭𝘰𝘰𝘬𝘦𝘥 𝘢𝘵 𝘩𝘪𝘮𝘴𝘦𝘭𝘧 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘨𝘰𝘯𝘦 𝘢𝘸𝘢𝘺, 𝘩𝘦 𝘪𝘮𝘮𝘦𝘥𝘪𝘢𝘵𝘦𝘭𝘺 𝘧𝘰𝘳𝘨𝘦𝘵𝘴 𝘸𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘩𝘦 𝘭𝘰𝘰𝘬𝘦𝘥 𝘭𝘪𝘬𝘦.

When we choose to obey God, even when we do not understand or “feel” it is freeing, we will eventually be rewarded with true freedom.
In Matthew 7:24, Jesus likens applying the Word to someone building his house on the rock. When the rain fell and winds blew, it did not fall.
While it may be easier to build our house on “sand,” will we choose to build a strong foundation on the unchanging truth of God’s Word?

![#HUNGERFORMORE | Spiritual hunger is an intense or desperate longing for God out of our need and desire for Him.
Every single one of us has the capacity to develop a hunger for God.

𝐀𝐫𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐲 𝐜𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐬𝐩𝐢𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐮𝐚𝐥 𝐡𝐮𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐫?
God placed in us a capacity to be hungry for Him. It is in our renewed nature to long for Him.
What we do with our God-given hunger is key. We can either stifle or nurture it. The appetite we feed is the one that will rule us.
𝐒𝐩𝐢𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐮𝐚𝐥 𝐡𝐮𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐫 𝐚𝐥𝐬𝐨 𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐞𝐬 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞 𝐢𝐧 𝐇𝐢𝐬 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐝.

As we grow, God adds to us an increasing hunger for His Word.
Ultimately, we will only experience spiritual hunger on this side of eternity, and this hunger reminds us that we do not belong to this world.
God has created all the conditions we need to hunger for Him, so let us make it our daily choice to tune our hearts towards Him, for we will only truly be satisfied in Him.

![#GIVINGGODSWAY | Giving is all about the heart. When God is first, everything in life will come into order.
𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐏𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐩𝐥𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐅𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭
“You shall bring the choice first fruits of your ground into the house of the Lord your God.” Exodus 23:19 (AMP)
We see the Principle of First all through Scripture. God gave Jesus, the first fruits, as an offering to redeem us while we were still sinners, in hope we would know Him one day.
In the story of Cain and Abel, God accepted Abel’s first fruits and rejected Cain’s offering because He is preeminent.
𝐇𝐞 𝐢𝐬 𝐟𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐝𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐞𝐬 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲 𝐛𝐞𝐬𝐭.
“Bring all the tithes (the tenth) into the storehouse, so that there may be food in My house, and test Me now in this,” says the Lord of hosts, “if I will not open for you the windows of heaven and pour out for you [so great] a blessing until there is no more room to receive it.
𝐁𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠, 𝐍𝐨𝐭 𝐆𝐢𝐯𝐞
When we bring our tithes to the Lord first, we’re bringing to Him what belongs to Him in the first place.
If we desire for God to take us deeper, we need to put Him first, for where our treasure is, that’s where our heart is.

![#HEROESOFTHEFAITH | This week, we journey through the final moments of David’s life to the rise and fall of Solomon.
As David neared the end of his life, he instructed his son, the heir to the throne, to love God and keep His commandments.
After Solomon became king in his youth, God appeared to him in a dream at Gibeon and asked for his request.
Instead of asking for selfish gains, Solomon asked for wisdom—God’s way of doing and judging right.
This pleased God greatly, and He granted Solomon not only exceptional wisdom, but also riches and honour beyond any king of his time.
Solomon started out well. Yet, later on in his life, he disobeyed God by marrying many princesses to form alliances with other nations.
By trusting his own ways instead of God’s, Solomon stepped into the very outcome he tried to avoid.
Eventually, he did evil in the sight of the Lord hand did not follow Him fully, unlike his father David.
We see glimpses of Solomon’s regret in the book of Ecclesiastes. The wisest man on earth, who had everything one could desire, came to a sobering conclusion: if we pursue anything other than God, it turns into vapour and leads us to empty wells.
Our walk with God is not a sprint but a marathon. To finish well, we must take David’s charge as our own.
